How did you know I love peac.ocks? I think Fi looks like a fine-a.ss peac.ock particularly with the blues in her lingerie and hat, the flower in her hat, and the freaking awesome body-chain! Peac.ocks are known as a super-masculine bird as they only display when they see a girl they like, but Fi totally changes that! This is honestly my favorite entry of the round and I'm trying to find things to nit-pick, maybe that the backdrop looks a bit more realistic than Fi, but really yo, I adore this so much!

This entry, I have to say was my favourite for this round. Her styling and choice of clothing to me ticked all the boxes. Her casual expression was nice and relaxed. The hat added to the fashion statement well. I feel a sexier pose would have shown Fi off better, and the background, although gorgeous, reminded me more of fantasy rather than a tropical setting.

This is absolutely gorgeous! The matching colors, the lingerie, this background, everything works so well together and seems like it just fits, though the background does seem more fantasy than tropical. The only things I wish for are eye contact and better blending, so she looks less placed into a painting and more like she belongs, which could be done by light drawing and shading. I'm sure you'll get to that point eventually, but it would have definitely worked so well here! Also, try iWarping her elbow next time so it's not so pointy and looks more natural. That's it for me at least, great edit! (And did I say I love her skin? 'Cause I do, link me please? Lol!)

First impression, WOAH wow... just... just woah... - ok so this piece looks very sleek and AMAZINGLY done. I love the interwoven theme of blue throughout this photo it compliments Fi, VERY well! However something feels off, and i keep gravitating towards her hat... and I feel it both works but doesn't in a way and it kinda throws off the colorization as a whole a little... ASTOUNDING WORK!

Man, Posey and her elephant look amazing! The only thing I notice that's off from first glance, is that she'd have to have a hecka long arm for it to reach into that position with the elephant's trunk. Her attire does look a little more like a swimsuit and less like lingerie, but that's minor. I freaking adore her fierce makeup and glare at the camera, like "Do not touch my precious elephant!" I love the blue and gold on her bottom piece that works with the blue and gold on the elephant.

I like the placement of Posey in the water with the elephant. Her outfit looks gorgeous and her pose works well in this shot. Posey looks absolutely gorgeous, she's rockin' that suit! I especially love the makeup you drew on her, definitely makes her look tropical and high fashion, especially with the design of the bottoms. Also, the setting is very pretty and unique, and I love that you used an elephant for your animal, they're such fantastic creatures. Some things I noticed were that you were lacking a mini-reflection in the water for Posey (to match the mini one of the elephant), a few noticeable rough edges (mainly around the hands) and some of the lighting and shadows is a bit off based on the direction of the sunlight. Other than that this is a really great edit, it was an interesting take on the assignment.

First impression, ohhhh yaaas I love this take the tropic theme! Bold move!- I'm really digging the take you went for this challenge doing a indian/tribal-esque tropical aesthetic was really creative. I can see A LOT of thought was done in aspect to the color coordinating between Posey and her lovable Ellie friend here love how their color schemes and make up markings correlate and compliment each other. They only thing I wished their was more of, is a wider representation of different colors the blue feels like its overpowering the subtle reds and golds. STUNNING JOB!

Dude, I had totally forgotten about tropical deserts before you turned this in. This is so freaking unique. Love how big you made it, too; it fits on my 2k monitor just lovely. One of my nit-picks is that there are black jaggedy lines on her lingerie and that if you can use the pen tool and select those, you can get rid of them. I'm going to have to go with what Mizzie said, and say that the necklace should have been gold to match the shoes' gold color, cause when we think desert, we think gold. I LOVE Celeste's makeup though and just her eye contact, to die for!

Absolutely love how your entry was unique and I learnt something new. I would have never thought of a desert as a tropical setting. I know you said you researched it, but is it a tropical place encompassing a desert within, or an actual tropical setting? Love the choice of lingerie and that you thought outside the square and chose a different animal that suited your setting. I felt the pose looked a little awkward, however and not as natural as others I’ve seen.

Man, Celeste looks fantastic in this! You did a stellar job with this edit, everything comes together perfectly and is very unique for a tropical setting. I really love her hair and her fierce look, and the overall styling is very good. I do think the necklace should match the shoes though with a gold color, it would help bring this together more (plus when I think desert jewellery, I think gold). Also, her pose is a bit awkward in certain areas. The hands for one, especially the one on the ground because even when our hands are resting like this they bend slightly. I'm not sure if you made the pose or not, but always use references if you are so they're accurate (and even if you didn't this time, tip for the future!). The arm connecting to that hand is also a bit off looking. Finally, the camel was cut out pretty well, but try to lightly brush over the hair with a similar color to further remove that white afterglow. Fabulous job!

I legitimately asked my husband if he could see anything wrong with this picture because I really couldn't. He would like you to know that he thinks your shadowing is superb. I absolutely love that you simulated the light coming off the jungle canopy both on your model, and on the backdrop. I love the "big cats" in the trees lounging around. Heck, I just love cats so. I think the only thing that would have made this better would be in the high fashion category, if Lily were giving the audience a fierce look. And also I'm not a fan of cutting a model off at the ankle because it's just generally a weird place to cut off. Makes the subject of the photo look a bit stumpy. But this is an absolutely gorgeous photo and if my photography-loving husband couldn't find anything wrong with it, then heck, you did great!

Lily looks right at home in this setting. Her pose is relaxed and well-placed. Proportion is a little out, but they are leopard cubs, not fully grown. The setting is perfect for a tropical paradise and her outfit suits the overall shot, though not truly “high-fashion”. The reflection you used on her skin looked perfect on her chest, but on her stomach and parts of her legs it looked a bit too shadowed or brown.

This is a really cool edit! I love the fact that you were trying to portray her enjoying the jungle from within, and she looks very beautiful. The leopard printed lingerie is also very cute and fitting. And I especially love the little ocelots, they're so cute, including that little one peeking from the brush! I also like that you attempted the shadows of the canopy. However, there's too much on her and not enough on her surroundings. It looks more like she came down with an illness than having a canopy on her, because there's nothing to balance it out, or accompany it, on her surroundings like you'd normally see in a jungle or forest. And a tropical leaf brush would be more suited as well, as the dotting looks more like a regular forest canopy than a jungle. Back to the styling though, try to remember to style her a bit more next time, a few accessories could really help her here as this is a high fashion competition. Also, it looks like she's sporting a reverse mullet at the top, erasing something like that would be recommended. Lastly, slightly awkward cutoff at the ankles. With full body shots everything needs to be shown, and 3/4's only go to the thigh or right above/below the knee. Other than those things I really loved this edit, keep bringing that creativity!

I'm going to say I adore Joelle's natural hair. Although, I can see spots on it where it was not cut out as well, like lighter-colored grey or white edges. I feel like her styling was kind of off. She has nails to match the bottom, which does look like underwear. But her eyeshadow matches the top, which looks more like a bathing suit top, not lingerie. There are also little scribbles above and below her necklace, I'm not sure if those are tattoos or not, but please let us know just in case they show up again. I do love the backdrop though, and the fiddler crab was one of my favorites!

You always use such unique models, and Joelle is certainly unique! To start, her overall styling is pretty good, but the mismatched bottoms and top are just not working for me, they don't match with colors or theme, though the shoes match the bottoms so that's good. Also, the necklace was used before you, make sure to keep an eye out for stuff like that (though I didn't deduct any points for it, in case you're wondering). I do like her pose too, she certainly takes the stage with it. The quality is a little low on Joelle, and her shadow is a problem also. It is not only going in the wrong direction, but is too dark compared to the surrounding shadows. Based on the lighting, they'd be angled more to the side than directly in front of her, and it's also misplaced a bit underneath her. And the crab is quite cute too!!

First impression, YAAAAS! CO-LOR... ON... POINT! - OK so, this shot DEFINITELY stood out to me. The outfit/look choice couldn't have been any better I love how the sea-foam green compliments BOTH the water and yet the treeline. LOVE the pop of color in the top its refreshing but not overpowering, the pose is on point... the only things I see are Joelle's shadow seems to dark in comparison to the other shadows around her. I love that Cassidy is holding the big cat's hand! And that they're kinda cuddling. Cassidy's outfit honestly does look more like swimwear than lingerie, but that's minor. There seems to have been a massive battle with the clone tool and a lot of smudging over it, and that takes away from the quality; when you clone, don't clone in a straight path, take little bits and pieces and layer them, and if you have a version of Photoshop that does content-aware, you can try using that a bit. Finally, the shadow under Cassidy seems to also be under her propped-up leg, which wouldn't happen because that area of background is just so far away from her! But I do really love this and her interaction with the big cat.

Oh wow, this is super cute Jenna! Very creative to take this big cat and hold his paw, probably one of the best uses I've seen for him since he's been used a lot. I also adore how she looks back at him, if only the cat were looking back! Overall this is a good photo, and the styling isn't too bad, but remember to accessorize more in the future since this is a high fashion comp. I do like her lingerie too, though it looks more bathing suit than lingerie. As for her pose, while I like it I'd also say be careful, as the bottom half looks like it is falling off the log, a rotation or pose combining would be great here. Lastly, there are some quality issues throughout the background, looks like the overall background and use of the cloning tool. Very nice entry though, can't wait to see more from you.

Dayum, Tonya, you got me with this. I think you had legit, hands down, the most high-fashion pose. Probably outfit and accessories, too. Layla is looking stunning! Also you got the tattoos on pretty well, they are similar quality as each other and shopped in pretty well! So, while I love the sea turtles and their splashes, I just have to say that... sea turtles generally don't jump. Also that two of your sea turtles, were the same sea turtle. But man, this is an awesome entry regardless! Like, if sea turtles jumped, then this would be flawless. The only other thing I can see is a bit of the arms missing; I will make a tutorial for cutting with the pen tool soon though and then hopefully that won't be an issue. But Layla is freaking gorgeous!

Love the movement in this shot. The tattoos are a nice touch, but they look a bit “stuck on”, rather than natural. I really love Layla's styling here and the turtles, they are super cute! Her lingerie, though an odd color for my tastes, is a nice choice, and her accessories look really good on her! You were also one of the few who accessorized for a high fashion comp, so kudos to you! Your quality has also improved over the last few months, though she does have a chunk missing and some uneven areas on her arm. The background is also very pretty, though this doesn't really say tropical to me, just beach, which can be found anywhere. Lastly, the proportions are off. You cut her off where her feet would technically be, as this is a zoomed in pic of the beach and a splash! Avoid backgrounds like this in the future so your proportions stay accurate. Otherwise, fantastic job!

I think your Vivian's lingerie is my favorite of the round. I'm not sure why. Maybe just because I adore pink and black. Who knows? I also just love the way she's looking at the audience. Just what I do have to say is that her cut-out has some super blurred edges, particularly on the bare shoulder and the legs. The parrot probably needs a tiny bit of a shadow, too. Anyway, I remember when you joined my second cycle of this and nailed it for the longest time. Glad to see you back! Just be careful with those edges!

Vivian is a very beautiful model, and her lingerie is very pretty and a lovely pink, though it's not entirely fitting for a tropic environment. She does need some accessorizing as well to fit the high fashion requirement better, but otherwise her styling is pretty good. Also, I do think it's a bit odd that she's wearing such a dainty color, then has some really bold and sexy makeup thrown on - it creates a very odd contrast in style and not necessarily a good one. And eye contact would be better here since she's only looking to the side rather than turning her face or body entirely. Other than that, the background is low quality and not really a good location, there's a smudged spot on her shoulder, and the bird needs a shadow, but other than those things it's a very clean edit, great job!

First impression, oh nice, I love the softness of this very striking- I really really like your background it's very vibrant the parrot was a good pairing for your model and her outfit correlating the Reds and pinks with her look, and keeping a dark eye works really well with the black lacing and lines of her swimsuit nice touch. OMG, I love Marcella's lingerie! I think for her hair, you could have done a little clone tool and made it not clip into her arm as much, but that's really minor. I love this tropical background because it reminds me of that tiny island off Guam that we didn't go to cause it was way too expensive, but we could always see it in the distance, and it looked like this. I am not a fan of the seagull. He's not really a tropical animal, as I found out horrifyingly that there are even seagulls in Chicago. (I hate seagulls.) Also he's way too big. He looks like if Marcella lay down in that hammock, he could easily kick her out of it. Most seagulls, realistically, if they stole your fries you could punt them and they'd be smaller than your foot you used to punt them with. So while you are indeed improving by leaps and bounds, and you are awesome and I freaking love you, you do need to pay a bit of attention to proportion.

You did a great job with your editing and the close proximity of Marcella, really works well in this shot. Her pose suits the stance and you can see the tropical background. Let me start by saying that I really love Marcella's outfit, it's very high fashion and looks great on her! Though I'm not entirely sure this is fitting for a tropical environment. She could also use better styling, she's lacking accessories and this is important in a high fashion competition. I also like the location a bit, but the colors for the background are a bit muted and the quality is grainy compared to gorgeous Marcella. Speaking of which, she's missing chunks out of her body and lacking eye contact. Remember to be careful with your editing, if you make a mistake go back and undo it, and when they are only slightly turned like this they need to be adjusted to look at the camera. Lastly, proportions! I've noticed this is one of your biggest hurdles. Based on the height of everything, she'd be too short for this shot (and the seagull seems too large but I know they're usually at this size, so ignoring him), and she's missing a shadow. Remember that proportions need to be as accurate as possible, use references. This is a good photo though, your styling and sense for high fashion are definitely improving.

Your background is VERY beautiful! Awww the seagull was a cute and unique touch, ADORABLE! But, I do see some things are slightly needing a bit more TLC... I like the look but parts of Marcella's ensemble are conflicting color-wise with her environment, in my opinion, always make sure the background is complimenting the model OR the model is complimenting the background. As for her ensemble its a bold and dark piece but something feels missing but I can't really put my finger on it...Quality-wise, you do have some rough edging and part of her arm is missing a bit, remember to be SUPER careful when cutting, its the hardest part of editing so don't be discouraged
