OBITUARIES (Will Close Until FALL 2017)

   Hello Everyone, hope I didn't need to ask before posting a comp?
I wanted to introduce a new modeling competition for new or veteran models. In game shots or editing are both welcome! No preference.

This comp is designed to encourage creativity and have fun! Hope you will like it and join!  





OBITUARIES-Sims 3 or 4 Modeling Competition
CYCLE 1: “Death By:” (Dark/Eerie themed)
-The first cycle will be a darker or eerie type competition....the more death-like or eerie the better, as each round focuses on some type of way your model NEEDS to die/be killed!  

- 10 Rounds each Cycle.
- Rounds 1-4 will be no eliminations
- Rounds 5-7 are Elimination Rounds
- Rounds 8-10 are the Final Rounds
(Bonus Points ARE available)

DESCRIPTION:
- SIMS 3 or 4 Models are welcome & can be male OR female YA, Adult, or Elder Competition *Please specify which game you will be using for your model.
- This competition is a little different because it will include creating entries that portray specific death-types & also requires a brief description of their death (explain your idea for your shot’s theme)
- This is a picture themed Sims modeling competition focusing on using the specified death-type each round/assignment & creating an entry that includes your shot, but will also require you to give a brief writing; allowing you to “explain” your idea/story for each entry.  

BASIC RULES:
- HAVE FUN!!!
- No arguing with judges, other models, or yourself! If you have questions about your scores, etc. PLEASE pm that judge.
- We want everyone to have fun & enjoy seeing the creativity of simmers everywhere! Challenge yourselves, your inner creativity, and each other.
- CC Can be used but not essential.
- Edited Background and In Game shots permitted. You need to post with each entry simply either EDITED or In-GAME under your pic, so your shot will be fairly judged.
- Lastly, HAVE FUN!!! (We know we said this twice, but it is the MOST important rule)

- Obituary Relevance _ /10

-Stage/Overall Picture: _/10
TOTAL AVAILABLE PTS PER ROUND/ASSIGNMENT: 50[/size]


TO ENTER:
Provide:
- Your name/nickname
- Model’s Name
- Specify if 3 or 4 is being used
-Provide a full body shot of your sim looking their best in any fashion, using any pose, & on any solid background EXCEPT black
- Provide the black & white headshot of your model in the Mock Assignment requirements/guideline
NOTE: You can enter the different shots & info separately or together as long as everything is posted by the end of sign-ups, but you can start with just a reserve including your name.

SIGN-UPS will run for 2 weeks. This competition will be hosted at Simtech Forum, Simmetry Forum, and Sims & Modeling + Sims4 Sims & Modeling(Officials) (Officials). You may post your info, sign-ups/reserves, and all entries in just one of the 3 threads and all will be updated as info comes in.

Since we have our 3 Judges, here is the information for the Judge Twist & Bonus Points...

***BONUS PTS EXPLAINED***

Judges Choosing bonus pts will follow these guidelines:
RULES FOR BONUS PTS- 2 points are available for each round/assignment
by 2 different judges & only 1 model can receive a bonus point from the same
category; meaning 1 model won’t be able to get BOTH points in one bonus category.
EXCEPT for I Got Goosebumps (IGG); there will only be 1 judge picking the entry and
the entire 2 pts will be given to only 1 model.

1. Most Improved (MI)- To the model who has shown the most improvement from the last round assignment.
2. Fabulous Look (FL)- Is given to the model who just has the best look in their style/clothing, accessories,
and make-up to go with the shot.
3. Awesome Background (AB)- The model who just has that especially creative/awesome background that
sets the stage beautifully.
4. You Scared Me To Death (SMTD)- To the model who just had the most eerie death factor.
5. I Got Goosebumps (IGG)- This is the ultimate prize awarded each round & is reserved to the model whose
entire pic, including ALL the scoring categories, has the best overall shot.

***JUDGES TWIST***
Every judge will also serve as a mentor to randomly chosen models each round. You will be able to get helpful feedback, criticism, advice, etc. (think X-Factor).
We want to help you achieve the highest points and improve wherever you are trying to! We can give instruction but not actually do any of the work, of course.

PLUS. Each ROUND's WINNER gets to choose their Mentor for the next assignment!!! Woo-Woo!

**Mentoring will NOT be allowed for Final Rounds.

ASSIGNMENT  2
This is NOT an Elimination Round



-Show your model dying by some type of fire involvement. It can be any way of dying as long as fire is involved:
House fire, fire storm, explosion,  etc. Full or half body is okay and don't forget to write a brief description in  a caption
format explaining the scene. (The more creative, the higher the pts that will be received.)
*Keep limited to no more than 3 sentences.
NOTE: Your model does NOT need to be posed "dead" unless it fits with your idea for the shot.
(Death poses are only needed when specified in the Assignment description.)
*As long as your entries portray/show an environment that your model would or SHOULD die in, it is okay.
(like the Example pics) The closer your pic shows a high likelihood to die, the better your "Death Factor" points
will be each Assignment. So if you struggle with the Death Factor, you will have time to improve! *hint: And remember,
there WILL be Bonus Points each Round for "Most Improved"
